Actually the article states the woman was the original owner and it was stolen from the Post Office where her father worked.

It is not really a problem with the idea of a Union - it is the way a Union is run and the money going to the wrong people.

No, Darwin awards are given to stupic people who die before they procreate. He may still spawn a new generation. We can only hope that he continues his way and someday actually become a nominee.

Jake...Are you also blaming the oil companies for all the major earthquakes that occured before the 1800s all over the world? I didn't realize that Ancient Greece was drilling for oil when the earthquake toppled their buildings.

Scoop...I think I see why you aren't getting any editing jobs. Go back and re-read your stories with fresh eyes, or maybe have a close friend read them. If you eliminate the typos and grammar errors (your, you're, then, than) and cut out the repeated paragraphs, someone might see your potential.

Let's not blame the shareholders. In many corporations, even if 75% of the shareholders vote to withhold executive bonuses, it is not a binding vote and the compensation committee can go ahead with the bonus. "The People Have Spoken" does not reach the ears of the board of directors.

No, they didn't fly on Air Force 1. Go back and re-read the report. I don't even like him, but passing around falsehoods doesn't help anyone.

I had dental surgery for the first time 35 years ago. I said funny things as I was coming out of it and we talk about it even today. It was funny then and funny now. I was not tramatized by it. It was a learning experience.
